Catarina is a graphic designer with a degree in Graphic Design from ESAD in Caldas da Rainha and over 15 years of experience in the field. Between 2008 and 2010, she was part of the team at Agência Lupi&Brum in Lisbon, at Amoreiras. Since 2010, she has been working at ‘Slingshot – Comunicação e Multimédia’, an agency located in Torres Vedras.
In June 2020, Catarina took on the challenge of participating in an open call from Vicara (Caldas da Rainha) and ‘Mónica Santos Studio’, aimed at illustrating clay plates in the style of Portuguese taverns. She was one of the winners with the plate ‘verga’, inspired by Portuguese culture. The prize included having the plate produced and made available for sale by ‘Tasco Tableware’.
In addition to graphic design and illustration, Catarina is passionate about handmade crafts, sports, and nature, always seeking opportunities to disconnect from screens. Living in a peaceful seaside village, she is a great lover of the sea, where she enjoys fresh fish and seafood, which are a big part of her daily life.
